These flower cupcakes are very easy to make and can be a great last minute gift for someone. I made chocolate cupcakes, and topped them with chocolate fudge icing. These were the cupcakes I made and donated to a recent Macmillan Coffee Evening that I attended. The cupcakes are chocolate in flavour with a chocolate fudge frosting and finished off with an edible white, yellow or green rose. I made this cake for Elaine on her 70th birthday as it was a recreation of a cake she had been given on her 7th birthday. She chose the mint green and claret pink flowers and piping pattern and requested that the cake be madeira with a buttercream and jam filling. This is not a colour scheme I would have opted for personally but did as she had asked. she absolutely loved it!
I made this for Jessica's birthday.
